Brooke Premo, ALC

Brooke Premo, ALC began her career as a middle school English teacher, and quickly learned that what she most enjoyed was talking with her students about their lives. She decided to pursue a career in counseling. Brooke earned her Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University. She spent time shadowing an expert grief therapist during her time there.

Brooke's approach to counseling is person-centered and employs techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Brooke is passionate about coming alongside those who are pursuing wellness in the areas of anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, behavioral and relational issues. She has attained additional training in play therapy modalities, ACT therapy for Anxiety and OCD, and has done extensive research on childhood and adolescent anxiety disorders. Brooke's strengths in therapy include warmth, humor, playfulness, hope, collaborative goal-setting, and a commitment to research-based practices.
