Cathrine Barnett, ALC

Cathrine Barnett is an Associate Licensed Counselor with a passion for helping clients navigate life’s most complex challenges. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Alabama.

 

Cathrine specializes in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Informed Therapy, with a strong focus on substance abuse and interpersonal violence. Her experience working with co-occurring mental health conditions allows her to support clients with deep empathy and clinical insight. Cathrine’s therapeutic approach is grounded in meeting clients where they are, empowering them to build healthier relationships with themselves and others.

 

Outside of the therapy room, Cathrine enjoys reading romantasy novels, expressing herself through painting and coloring, and spending time with her two beloved cats, Chewy and Dixie. She is practicing under the supervision of Sarah Hart, LPC-S.
