Tate Drew, LMSW

Tate is a Licensed Master Social Worker who specializes in perinatal mental health (PMH), grief and loss, and life transitions. PMG emcompasses the emotional and psychological wellbeing of women before, during, and after pregnancy for one year postpartum and beyond. Tate is a PMH provider through Postpartum Support International which offers support and resources for women experiencing infertility, miscarriage, birth trauma, and postpartum mood disorders, among other challenges. She has personal experience with pospartum anxiety/OCD, stillbirth, and pregnancy after loss. This inspires her daily to provide care and empathy to mothers walking through difficult seasons. 

Tate also has five years of experience in hospice care and is skilled at providing grief counseling to families suffering the loss of loved ones. She is educated in end-of-life concerns, dementia, and caregiving. 

Tate is passionate about connecting with clients, listening to their stories, and helping them untangle their unique experiences in order to move forward with deeper understanding and healing. She believes in cultivating beauty, joy, fun, and hope in everyday life. She knows the importance of identifying and staying true to your values as well as the power of social connection. These practices are integral to her approach to therapy, as well as facets of CBT and DBT.
