Madison Griggs, Intern
Meet Madison Griggs, our Counseling Intern. Madison is currently completing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Montevallo, and is interning under the supervision of Rachel Lawley, LPC-S. If Madison looks familiar, that’s because she’s spent the past two years as Lawley’s Office Administrator! Her time at the front desk has given her a close-up view of the courage it takes to seek help, and what it means to make people feel welcome and at ease.
Madison is trained in Brainspotting, a somatic therapy that helps clients access and process difficult emotions, stress, and trauma—without the need for words. She believes that healing happens best in a safe, judgment-free relationship, and meets each client where they are with warmth, patience, and genuine care. Whether a child is learning to navigate big feelings, an adult is working through life’s changes, or a couple is looking to reconnect, Madison is dedicated to helping her clients build resilience and find purpose in their lives.
If you’re looking for a compassionate counselor to help guide you through life’s challenges, you can schedule a free session with Madison today. She’d be honored to walk with you down the path of growth and healing.
